I'm an economist concerned with economic policies to promote growth, stability, and development. I design Agent-Based computer simulation models to analyze policy implementation and performance. I have experience writing, researching, and teaching about macroeconomics, monetary economics, and financial instability analysis.
Currently I am a Lecturer in Applied Economics at the University of Manchester, UK. I obtained my Ph.D, M.Sc. and B.Sc in Economics at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and I did a Visiting Research Period at the Scuola Superiore Sant`Anna, Italy.
